Time to fix some bikes again.

If you’re anything like me, the sight of the sun for more than an hour a day makes you want to get outside and leave the world behind for a bit. The only problem is, your bike might be a bit worn out from sitting around all winter.

Good news, everyone! I can help.

I’m opening up for bike repairs again this spring. As of now, y’all can reach out via email dirtbag.cycles1@gmail.com to get in touch about getting a bike fixed up.

This year, I’m doing a pay-what-you-can model. My grant funding for free bike repairs ended after that first summer. However, I do understand that life costs money and if you need to either not pay or pay a bit less that’s totally fine. Other local bike shops charge about $90 for a basic tune up, so that’s where the discussion can start. I truly want this to be a no-barrier option for people who just need their bikes working again.

I’ll be doing one bike/job per week, because I’m a human too. We can coordinate drop-off and pick-up times via email. I’d rather not do house calls this year. I’m also reserving the right to take some time off this summer, because you know. I’m a human.

So if you want to get your bike fixed, send me an email. Again that’s dirtbag.cycles1@gmail.com.

Take care, ride slowly.
